Full Time : Live in Nanny
This is the type of placement where you would hire on a nanny to live in your home. Families that have multiple children, work odd or long hours, travel frequently or have extra space in their home, may want to consider this type of placement. Hiring a live in nanny does not mean that they work 24 hours a day for a family. The nanny typically will work 40-50 hours per week and families are required to provide a private bedroom and bathroom space for them. Although a live in nanny will be staying in your home, we highly recommend the parents provide the nanny with a set schedule and try to maintain it so that lines of communication are in place.

Full Time: Live Out Nanny
This is the type of placement that is most common. A live out nanny typically works a 35-45 hour work week. The nanny would arrive in the morning and leave at night. We highly recommend parents providing the nanny with a set schedule. Please let us know in advance if your work hours vary and requires that the nanny’s hours be flexible.

Part- Time Permanent Nanny: Level 1
This is the type of placement where a family only needs part time care. Typically this nanny would work 20-35 hours per week. Parents that work part time or are in need of extra help usually go this route.

Part- Time Permanent Nanny: Level 2
This is the type of placement where a family only needs minimal part time care. Typically this nanny would work 5-20 hours per week. Perfect solution for a stay-at-home-parent who wants a consistent caregiver a few days a week so they are able to run personal errands.

Temporary Nanny
This type of nanny is typically a college student who is available in the summer months when your school age children are on vacation and in need of care. Typically temporary help last 3 months, but could be longer. Temporary help is also available for families whose permanent nanny is on a vacation.

Nanny Share
This type of placement is somewhat unique because it involves two separate families sharing a nanny. There are 2 ways in which a nanny share can work. The first type of “share” is where children from two separate families have the same nanny on the same days. This type of placement can be quite beneficial to the children involved because they will have a daily playmate in addition to a wonderful caregiver. The second typo of “share” is where 2 separate families have the same nanny, but on a rotating schedule where they basically take turns utilizing the nanny’s service. Typically, the families partner up and decide things such as: what home the children will be cared for in, compensation and schedules.

Travel Only Nanny
This is a type of service that requires nannies to travel with a family on their vacation.  This short term position may require a nanny to work long or odd hours.
